Onward Willow is excited to announce that starting on October 12th we will play host to the CFRU 93.3 FM Community Radio. Since 2013, CFRU’s mobile studio has been gathering stories, ideas and voices from Guelph’s neighbourhood groups, high schools, senior’s residences, and notable community events. Their host Jenny will be joining twice a week to pre-record stories from Onward Willow.
The goals of the mobile studio are:
- To engage and empower community members to share their voices, perspectives and ideas through media creation.
- To help local groups and organizations promote their programming, events and initiatives at no cost.
- To offer free training in media production to anyone interested
- To promote CFRU’s role as Guelph’s source for alternative media
- To generate a meaningful, ongoing connection between the University of Guelph and the community at large.

Drop in Radio Times: Monday’s 10:30am-12:00pm, Wednesdays 1:00pm-3:00pm
